TAMING DEMOCRACY IN AFRICA: THE QUESTIONS WE SHOULD BE ASKING BY NGWA CHE RUFUS II

Democracy is most often defined as a system of government by a people or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives. In other words, democracy is a form of government in which power ultimately comes from the people who are governed, either through direct voting or through elected representatives. A democracy can thus range from Liberal Direct Democracy to an Illiberal Totalitarian Democracy. Furthermore, democracy comes as a form of government wherein every individual ought to be free and able to exercise his/her rights even with some paroxysm because democracy is said to protect the minority and most especially the vulnerable.

In a democracy therefore, the “majority” has the obligation to protect the “minority” even if they share deferring viewpoints. If this is not the case, it might be considered as “suppression”. We often come across words like latter when democracy is concerned and as a result, one cannot but notice that democracy in its true nature is filled with corruption, racism, and capitalism etc. A case in point is when we observe individuals and or governments sending companies/industries to poor countries in the name of industrial development and causing people of these countries to work and at what cost and wage? In effect, these multi-million companies are in search of cheap or free labour and human capital. Man’s constant search for the easiest way to survive and most often to satisfy his needs or his search for Utopia becomes useless given that the employer who comes in the name of democracy that has opened the borders for foreign investment are all but blood suckers on poorer and weaker nations.We must not be scared of any “ism” (capitalism, socialism, imperialism, etc) which within the realms of Democracy because they are most often schemes to subject the human mind to mediocrity and exploitation in the name of international cooperation. These issues must be probed by our leaders and their shortcomings that stand against the development of their nations and people must be condemned with virulence. This not to say there is nothing good about these issues and or terms but it is to warn that our leaders must be skilled enough to see beyond them and decipher what is best for their various countries. 

When we talk of democracy, we are invariably insinuating that there is freedom and equality, why then does every democratic society have ghettos as well as the high and mighty of society who live in segregated well paved streets of the same towns? This may sound banal but it is undisputed inequality. Most people when they pursue power in democratic societies, it's not for service but rather for self-service. They look forward to satisfying themselves and careless about those they ought to serve or those who put them in power. The downtrodden and proletariat  class is but an afterthought in the minds of such leaders, be them elected, appointed or mere elites who have gain recognition for their societal statuses. Democracy is a “freedom experiment” or as i would call it, “the perfect prenuptial agreement”. It encapsulates the pre-set conditions that should make everything work accordingly on the surface rather than making the appropriate decisions which will ensure a transparent and sustainable form of government.  This is  because man believes he is too smart but, we keep falling in the same traps and committing the same mistakes.  The democratic ideal is pursuing personal freedom but in our societies we witness prejudice, jealousy, and envy etc. We have failed!!. If Democracy is the best we have come up with because it hasn't prevented wars, poverty, terrorism and other ills that are now still eating up the world and especially the African continent. What next will man come up with? Shall we now device another “ism” that we will erroneously deify as the panacea for our African malaise?

With the on-going rapid for change in the world in terms of governance, we can observe a form of “Democratic Dictatorship”. A democratic dictatorship is that which paints itself as a full-fledged democracy. Hence, it is that form of democracy which gives off the impression that the state, no matter how authoritarian it is, it is there to serve the people. This form of democracy can be widely observed most especially in our African continent where leaders use dark methods to rule the people yet portray themselves are angels. Cases abound and it is not for me to call names of such countries and or their leaders for obvious reasons. Democracy focuses on how societies select who will hold power, while the rule of law is concerned with how political power is exercised but who makes the laws? This is the million Francs Question…We've become imprisoned by our own personal needs that we tend to forget the real essence of life and living together. We often ask ourselves questions like:  What route are you using? How do you get to your destination? The human question should be: What are we searching for rather than what route are we taking. It is not just what you search, it is what you need. If you can identify what you are searching for, you will know what you need to achieve what you are searching for. 

Has Democracy solved our problems or has it brought in more problems for us to bear?

PROFILE: Does Every African Nation Need A Julius Malema?

Whether or not South Africans in particular and Africans in general agree with the fact that Malema is a man of the people, the truth still remains that his vocal attitude and daring public speech punchlines are sure needed in every African nation. His voice, filled with surety and conviction is one that African dictators don't want to hear. Of course, in a country where presidents rule like monarchs through blood founds of terror, intimidation and lynching of dissenting voices, a person like Malema will not be welcomed. the vocal and outspoken nature of his personality has without doubt been inspiring youths around Africa. Unfortunately, it is to be regretted that these youths haven't been seen to have started taking action yet.

We as African youths must see in this gentleman something that has to do with our economic freedom and liberation. This is so because our geriatric political leaders of Africa have seemingly created poverty in order to hold us captive and incapacitated since a hungry stomach has no strength to speak out and protest about bad governance. In Julius Malema I see a young Sankara and like him, Malema believes that Africans can only be free from colonization and occupation through economic freedom and liberation. i pray seriously that the evil minds of Machiavellic political stooges shouldn't impose Sankara's faith to this bright and young revolutionary. If we as Africans see it only fit for us to eliminate our own powerful voices then I am sure our liberation and freedom is like a thousand years away.   

As earlier intimated, we all know how African politics works right? Now that political landlords hear there is a young man in the person of Malema pouring knowledge and inspiring youths to seek economic liberation, they now see a threat to their political ambitions. like they know how to do best, they have and are still calculating means of discrediting the young revolutionary. African youths must take the challenge to change things withing the economic life of their nations. I guess you sure asking how that can be done when most African regimes are filled with brain dead geriatrics as politicians? i will not pretend to have an answer to this question but sure that is what we need to do and from the south African perspective, Malema seems to be doing the right thing.  

Julius Sello Malema was born on the 3^rd of March 1981. He is married to his long-time sweetheart and with her, he has two sons: Munzhedzi and Kopano. Malema also has a son named Ratanang from a previous relationship with Maropeng Ramohlale. Educationally, Malema graduated from Mohlakaneng High School Limpopo. In 2010, he completed a two-year diploma in youth development through the University of South Africa and in 2011, he enrolled at the same university for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and African Languages, and graduated in March 2016.

He is a member of the South African Parliament and the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters a political party he founded in July 2013. He previously served as President of the African National Congress Youth League from 2008 to 2012 before forming his own party in late 2013. Malema was a staunch member of the ANC before his expulsion in April 2012. He is known to occupy a controversial position in South African public and political life after rising to the spotlight with his support for African National Congress president, and later President of South Africa, Jacob Zuma. Malema was elected as chairman of the Youth League branch in Seshego and the regional chairman in 1995. In 1997 he became the chairman of the Congress of South African Students (Cosas) for the Limpopo province, and was elected as the national president of that organisation in 2001. In 2002, he led a Cosas march by school pupils, through Johannesburg marked by incidents of violence and looting. In April 2008, this young fighter was elected as the president of the ANC Youth League in April 2008.

He was described by both Zuma at least before they fell out sometime in 2012 as the "future leader" of South Africa. Some unappreciative critics paint Malema as a "reckless populist  with the potential to destabilize South Africa and to spark racial conflict.” Malema was convicted of hate speech in March 2010 and again in September 2011. In November 2011 he was found guilty of sowing divisions within the ANC and, in conjunction with his two-year suspension sentence in May 2010, he was again suspended from the party for five years. 

The unrepentant Malema was again in 2011, convicted of hate speech after singing "Shoot the Boer" a song sang in the days of liberation from Apartheid by protesters and activists in the 80s and 90s to show their hatred for white settlers in South Africa. On 4 February 2012 the appeal committee of the African National Congress announced that it had found   evidence in aggravation of circumstances, leading them to impose the harsher sentence of expulsion from the ANC on Julius Malema. This young revolutionary lost an appeal to have his expulsion from the ANC overturned in 2012 and by September of the same year, he was charged with fraud and money-laundering. Of course that is how African politics works right?

Malema became a vocal advocate of nationalising South African mines. Although the ANC, including Mining Minister Susan Shabangu, and President Zuma refused to adopt this as ANC policy. Despite this rejection from party hierarchy, Malema continued to advocate this position until his expulsion from the party. It is to be noted that Malema’s opinions on nationalization according to some South African vox popoli are shared by South Africa's large National Union of Mineworkers.

In June 2013 Malema started canvassing for his own political party called the Economic Freedom Fighters. He immediately started appealing for funds for the new political party. His visit to Nigerian 'Prophet' T.B. Joshua for 'spiritual blessings' in August 2013 with some EFF members also elicited controversy and media attention thereafter. It is to be noted that the EFF won 25 seats in the National Assembly in the 2014 general election and Malema was sworn in as a member of parliament on the 21^st of May 2014 but was later dismissed from the assembly on the 19^th of June 2014 after refusing to withdraw a remark he had made  accusing the ANC government of murdering the miners involved in a miners’ strike.

All has not been rosy for Malema. He was listed in Time's Least Influential People of 2010, whereas Forbes magazine named him as one of the "10 Youngest Power Men In Africa" in September 2011. On a more sour note, some South African critical minds have denigratingly described this young revolutionary as a fascist and a demagogue while The Sowetan  magazine columnist  Andile Mngxitama described him as "an opportunist who raised these issues [nationalisation, land reform etc], not to solve them, but to trick the poor who have been waiting for a better life for all for almost 20 years now under your party's rule ... Instead of leading the new struggle as a selfless leader of the poor, you only pay lip service to the plight of our people while you amass great amounts of wealth through your political influence."

FORMER PRESIDENT SLAMMED A 24 YEAR JAIL TERM

The  South Korean court earlier today the 6^th of April 2018 sentenced the countries ousted former President, Park Geun-hye to 24 years in prison for corruption, influence peddling and more. The Seoul Central District Court after a yearlong trial and careful consideration of evidence against the former head of state found Park guilty of bribery, extortion, abuse of power and other related charges.

Park is a daughter of leader Park Chung-hee, who ruled South Korea for about 18 years until his death in 1979. Being the daughter of a feared Korean dictator during the early years following the countries revolution may just be reason enough to be the target of political intrigue and backstabbing. It is to be noted that south Korean government lawyers during the year long court proceedings had constantly demanded a 30-year prison term for the former president. This verdict proclamation was broadcast on live television and the court's chief judge, Kim Se-yoon said the punishment was necessary to dissuade present or future leaders of the country from  similar wrong doing in the future.

Added to the heavy prison sentence, Park was fined more than $16 million. According to South Korean judicial proceedings, the former South Korean leader has one week to appeal the ruling. It is to be noted that eversince these accusations were levied on Park, she has continually held strong to her  innocence and refused to admit to any wrongdoing. She further declared that she is a victim of politics  and the vile plans of her political opponents.

Among the charges against are most importantly issues related to influence peddling and meddling. Park was/is accused of siding with her childhood friend Choi Soon-sil to coerce businesses into paying a $72 million deposit for them to start two foundations. We note her that Choi controlled both organizations created with funds acquired from corrupt practices according to the courts. The former president and her friend were also found guilty of taking bribes from some of those companies from which they had illegally received funding for their foundations.

We remember that following early 2017 protests and riots in the country, Park was removed from power and remanded in custody ever since. Following today’s court decision, a mammoth crowd of the former president’s supporters appeared on the streets of Seoul to demand for her immediate release.

Such stories about bringing to book the leaders of South Korea tells of a country in which there is true practical democracy. In fact, it is clear that such a country has a no tolerant policy against corruption and no one is above the law. I guess most of us would be wishing that such a practice and respect of state institutions and laws were/are the case in our various countries across Africa.

Lightning Kills 16 People in Rwanda

At least 16 people are reported to have been killed by lightning in Rwanda. About 140 others are also reported injured after the lightning struck the Seventh Day Adventist church at  Gihembe in the Nyabimata district, southern province of the country, AP reported.

The provisional governor reported that on Sunday 10th March, the churchgoers were struck by lightning and over a hundred more were injured. He informed reporters that the injured  were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention. 

The Governor went ahead to reveal that Seventeen of the injured persons are still in hospital and two are in critical condition, while the others have been discharged.

It is to be remembered that a similar incident had occurred in the same country last Friday as lightning struck a group of 18 students, killing one. Last October 2017, lightning killed 18 people in different parts of the country. After the victims have been laid to rest over the earlier this week, all we can do is keep our eyes closed in prayers for these fallen African people.

Mayor Gets Punished By His Constituents

The Sad Experience of Mayor Javier Delgado

The people of San Buenaventura, a locality in Northern Bolivia, recently punished their mayor by putting him in stocks (medieval restraining device) for an hour. It is alleged that the town’s people wanted Mayor Javier Delgado, know that they weren’t satisfied with his services on their behalf. The disgraced mayor is pictured sitting on the ground with one leg trapped in stocks and the angry community people surrounding him.  These photos when viral on the South-American social media shortly after they were taken.

It so happened that sometime last month, Mayor Javier Delgado was to inaugurate a bridge in his community built with municipal funds. When he arrived at the ceremony, he was taken aback to realize that the crowd present wasn’t there to salute his hard work but to punish him. As he approached, the crowd immediately grabbed and put him in stocks. “They didn’t even give me the opportunity to find out why they were submitting me to this punishment, but I did not put up resistance knowing that there was a risk of things escalating even further…” reported Delgado to La Razon. “Later, they gave me the opportunity to explain and then they apologized to me, as they saw that they had been manipulated and misinformed by these people” concluded the mayor. Surely, by “these people”, Delgado meant his political adversaries and local entrepreneurs who are busy undermining the work he has done and has been doing for his community for over two years. 

Daniel Salvador, a native of San Buenaventura, told Radio Fides that mayor Delgado had been punished because he hadn’t respected his commitments to the local community since has only spent time lying to and exploiting their ignorance. Such behavior goes against the basic principles of the people of San Buenaventura as stated in “ama qhuilla, ama llulla, ama suwa” (do not be lazy, do not be a liar, do not be a thief. Of course going against these meant Delgado had to be punished according to the people.

Kim Jung Un To Meet Donald Trump: Will Nuclear Warheads Go Off?

Earlier yesterday 8^th March 2018, President Donald Trump to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un by May. This acceptance comes after Kim Jung Un pledged to refrain from further nuclear tests and move toward denuclearization, according to South Korean officials. This announcement which seems a surprise to all was made by South Korean National Security Advisor Chung Eui-Yong in a short statement outside the White House. The White House Press Secretary made it clear that no detailed timetable had been set for this meeting but in the main time the two countries look forward to fruitful discussions.

Mr Chung Eui-Yong went ahead to intimate that in earlier talks with South Korea, Kim Jong Un "expressed eagerness to meet President Trump as soon as possible." It is alleged that these sentiments from Kim were conveyed by word of mouth to Trump during a briefing in the White House Oval Office on Thursday 8^th March. Also, a Senior White House Official denied the existence of an official letter from the South Korean envoy to the president as earlier purported by media reporters in the US.

Kim Jong Un is alleged to have talked of denuclearization with the South Korean Representatives and apparently said no missile testing by North Korea will take place during this period of time. With all the progress made this far, America maintains that sanctions will remain until an agreement is reached.

It is confirmed by the White House that Mr. Donald Trump has accepted Kim's invitation to meet, though some senior government officials at the White House hold that "at this point, we're not even talking about negotiations. What we're talking about is an invitation by the leader of North Korea to meet face to face with the president of the United States," and  "The president has accepted that invitation." Speaking anonymously, theses officials offered insights into why the administration would take the historic step toward meeting since Kim's regime had finally seen reason for talks in favour of world peace and security, therefore, "it made sense to accept an invite to meet with the one person who can actually make decisions"  rather than remain on the power games and "long slog of the past."

Zoétélé Youths Go Festive After New Ministerial Appointments

Zoétélé, a small town in the Dja-et-Lobo Division of the South Region witnessed serious partying from its youths after Biya appointed new ministers into his government on the 2nd of march 2018. They wore white T-shirts with the inscription “POPOL C’ EST BON COMME CA” in an attempt to commend the head of state for flushing out some long serving big names from the regime.
  

The youths stormed the town and could be heard chanting with joy the names of Edgar Alain Mebe Ngo’o,  Martin Belinga Eboutou who have been at the helm of power besides Paul Biya for decades. These, youths sang songs praising the president for this move and drank themselves to stupor. Of course, it will follow that such jubilation is a calculated move for motions of support to start pouring in in favour of Mr. Biya’s candidacy in the upcoming presidential elections.

My sole concern is, do these youths feel a sense of belonging in the management of the affairs of this country under a regime where the average age limit for holders of ministerial and other top administration is 70? Are they simply happy because they are ‘connected’ to one or the other appointees? Do they see change through these new cabinet ministers or they are just out to have a new t-shirt, free drinks, free lunch and some cash seemingly offered by one or the other arrivists into the limelight of presidential favours and consideration?

Fire Ravages Home in Mile 3 Nkwen, Bamenda

Fire Brigade arrives minutes too late

After due fact finding to ascertain the cause of yesterday's fire in Mile 3, Nkwen, Kwata Vibes was informed reliably that, before the fire broke out, there were two kids in the house. Left to themselves, these kids started playing and one lit a match stick and torched the wool carpet that was on the floor. The flames spread so rapidly that the kids could't contain. Immediately, they ran off and signal their mother who wasn't too far off. 

When the lady arrived the scene, she couldn't recognize her house since it was already engulfed in flames. With all the wailing and hysteria, she sounded an alarm with screams and cries for help. Before long, the place was jamb-packed with neighbors and passers-by who tried their best to quail the flames. They use water, sand and all to make sure the house didn't all go down into the flames. Luckily, the flames were contained but not before it had consumed the roof, zinc and contents of the house though a few items were salvaged from other rooms of the building where the flames had not yet don't great damage. Worthy of note here is the fact that no lives were lost or any injuries sustained.

Thanks to the immediate response of neighbors and well wishers, the eminent damages of the fire were managed to a certain degree. At this juncture, what are we to learn from this unfortunate situation? as parents, we must make sure we educate our children of the dangers of fire and or any other dangerous issues like sharp objects and all. Also, we must never allow children by themselves in the house unattended by an elderly or much older person.  

In everything let's give thanks to God.

Atanga Nji Paul: Minister of Territorial Administration

Yesterday 2^nd March 2017 during the evening news on the National TV and radio, it was announced that the Cameroonian Cabinet has been once more reshuffled, this doesn’t come as a shock to many Cameroonians as such ventures have been a common yearly or bi-yearly phenomenon in the past years. This time around the results are certainly raising eyebrows.
The appointments and transfers to note in this year’s shakeup are those of Mr Atanga Nji Paul who is now shifted from the position of Minister in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency (a post which many Cameroonians mocked as being a post given as consolation price for they believed he was a ‘Minister without portfolio’) to Minister of Teritorial Administration. It should be noted that Mr Atanga Nji Paul recently became very infamous among his English Speaking Kin for having alleged on National TV that there was no Anglophone Problem; a statement which was met with lots of criticism and hate consequently giving the Anglophone Problem a different twist.

Also worthy of note is the appointment of Mrs Pauline Nalova Lyonga Egbe as Minister of Secondary Education she is also very highly unappreciated in the English Section of the Country given her somewhat unconventional actions within the University of Buea as Vice Chancellor which probably led to her being transferred to La Quintini Hospital in Douala as Board Chair. This year’s cabinet shake sees approximately the same names moving around and merely changing postures rather than new faces making their entrance into the top managerial positions of the country. Below is the full list of appointments and transfers;

RETHINKING A NEW INDEPENDENCE FOR AFRICA

In as much as we blame the colonial masters, we shouldn't forget to apportion the African leader's own share of the blame. Their egoistic, power hungry attitudes is what had and has driven them to sheepishly remain tied to the aprons of colonists especially France in the hope of maintaining their grip on power. If only these leaders had the interest of their people at heart, they would have from the very onset of independence crafted mechanisms to forster complete independence which should have severed the umbilical cord that bound newly independent states to the imperial masters.
If only they saw their position of power as a means of bringing economic, political, ideological and social freedoms to their people then they should have laid the right foundations for the attainment of such goals from the onset of independence. The shaking nature of the foundations on which our independence was built is the very cause for why we find ourselves where we are today.

AM NOT MAD AT TRUMP FOR CALLING AFRICA A SHITHOLE

Earlier today i posted about not being mad at Trump for calling Africa and the coloured world a shithole. Since then i have seen various other posts where in people are offended that some Africans like myself embrace the insults. As a result i felt compelled to write this post in order to share some of my thoughts by way of elaborating on my my not being mad.

I do understand the rage of some people regarding others acceptance of the ranting insults of Mr Trump. Unfortunately, am one of those. I acknowledge all the good things about Africa that these guys put forward especially those contained in a video i just watched on a friends wall. I accept all he cited so far and there is even more to the list. But again, that was some over 200 yrs ago before the corruption of colonialism. This said, i must give my views with regards to acknowledging that we in a shithole here in the third world.

One question i ask myself is, what did we (our African politicians after independence) do with the budding civilization bequeathed to us by our forefathers? I guess we all already know the answer to this. This of course is the point where the rain started beating us (Confer Achebe). When our new found leaders after colonization didn’t ensure the sustainability of the civilization legated to us, then they began to turn this beautiful continent of ours into a shithole that has just been emitting filth in the name of Corruption, dictatorship, poverty, nepotism, tribalism and all the negative “isms” you can think of. Once our leaders decided to sell their consciences in order to buy power, wealth and control to the detriment of their continent, then they willingly began to forge the shitholes we have today in Africa.

We may say Trump called Africa and the rest of the colored world a shithole because he is a bigot and a racist. Yes, he may be all these things but the question we are inadvertently failing to ask ourselves is; are our nations shitholes or not? Have our politicians abandoned the the path of a blossoming civilization led down by our ancestors to fade away into the corrupt western models of what we now see as civilization? The answers to this a sweeping "Yes".

After over sixty years of independence, where are we? What have we to show for? Corruption, famine, dilapidated infrastructure, embezzlement, inexistent health care, a kwashiorkor educational system that is built on propagating instituted ignorance on those of the margin? 

Divide and rule? Mass graves? Squander mania? Impunity? Unaccountability? Political ill will? Bribery? “Man know man” politicians? Scams and forgery? Illegal immigration? White collar triads? Mephestofilian necromancy? Self proclaimed modern age prophets and prophetesses? Etc etc.

Permit me take this example that just seems fitting to the educational system. About a month ago there has been this buzz and hype about PB Hev laptops in Cemeroun and the resultant "32=500". How does one explain this outrageous slap on the face of the intelligence of young students? Worse, an accredited professor goes on air and tries to justify this sham ( this only made me seem to question my own certificates having been taught by some of these guys in the faculty) 

what is the take home from this, isnt this an example of a shithole where a professor deliberately tries to unteach in order to consolidate instituted ignorance? Of course we know why he will afford such outrageous largess to vomit such shit on national television...

The truth is bitter but like they say, we need to hear it. Personally, I wouldn't judge Mr. Trump from a racist standpoint since I can't claim to fully understand the dynamics of racism in America. On the contrary, I will judge his utterances on the basis of their veracity vis a vis the prevailing realities in my country. 

Here is a nation wherein so called elected representatives have no regard whatsoever towards the betterment of the condition of the nation. They’ve remained stock to the Ngoa Ekelle University of Yaoundé 1 mentality, a system that cannibalizes its own children like the Grendel monster in the “Beowulf” epic. Wouldn’t it be a shit infested kinda leadership that is unruffled by the cries of the destitute as seen in the Anglophone Crisis since 2017? Wouldn't it be shit if genuine dialogue has not been given a chance yet. Oh yeah, what are the results of that, death, abductions, ghost-towns, liquidations and vaporizations on a daily basis. 

Isn't it a stock pile of shit that on the 1st of October 2017, while youths, grand mothers and children were being shot on the streets of Bamenda, Buea, Kumbo, Kumba etc for recognition of reunification, constipated elites are busy marching in Douala and Yaoundé in celebration of the same unification. My friends, it's only a shithole that one sees through these events. No matter how we try to paint it like the obfuscated political scientists during Sunday panel debates, the only thing that filters out is shit. Shit that doesn't seem to stink in the nostrils of intellectuals who are stuck to textbook definitions of republican values, pseudo-scholars whose research zeal has been bloated by political appointments motivated by stringed motions of support to a shit infested geriatric regime of diapered grandfathers and “mbamba” polit-bureau mafia. A njangi association that buys votes in favour of crumbs from his excellency’s bountiful table of portfolio-less ministerial appointments.

Six decades after independence, what do we have to show for, solemnly I tell you, nothing. Take a look at South Korea, Malaysia, Dubai, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan and the rest, 25 years ago we were almost if not on the same pedestal. Today, we beg for aid from them. DISGRACE!! Have we asked ourselves why? What do they have in terms of natural and human resources that we don’t have double or even triple here? In fact, most of these countries were ravaged by decades of horrifying civil wars and on top of it the effects of the Cold War. What war have we fought especially in 'Cameroun' to still be where we at in this age? Simply, we are here because we have representatives who have deliberately out of ill-will and “bad belle” to maintain the continent and the nations in the dark ages. This is the bitter truth we must come to terms with. Until those who hold the reigns of power ask the pertinent questions and formulate the right hypothesis, my dear friends, in the next 100 years we will be in the same place, the same stinking shithole if not worse. It might even graduate into a shit factory if we are not careful.

By and large, if you tell me: “hey my man, you’ve got a big head and an extremely large forehead!!” What i will do won’t be to insult you back. On the contrary i will formulate a research question and build your so called insult into a hypothesis then make my findings to either confirm or discard your hypothesis. I will look into a mirror to find out if your declarations hold some water. If yes, then i start trying out solutions, surgery, and what have you.This place is sick, it stinks and we must acknowledge it, we must come to terms with it my friends. When we do, its only then we can forge a path towards quailing the pungent stench that it emits.
